This was enjoyable. I spent the hour with a big goofy grin on my face, and I'm not even a huge Shaq/Crawford fan. And since this is my first social media post regarding Shaq, let me share a semi-personal story about the dude below for anyone interested in reading it. In the mid 90's, my wife worked at the CN Tower's revolving restaurant in Toronto as a waitress. Who comes in, but Shaq and his crew. She ended up serving him with little to no idea who he was (she was a figure skater, not an NBA fan... lol) - just a huge bear of a man. She made great tips most nights, but that night he tipped her a cool $100. She said he was a gentleman who treated everyone, including her, with respect - despite being so famous. Not everyone who tastes some fame remains this grounded. That has always stuck with me... even now after almost 30 years, I've got a soft spot in my heart for the dude. Thanks for being a quality human, Shaq. Much love from Toronto, Canada, big fella. Edit: Just showed my wife this post - she added 2 points: 1) Shaq tipped something like $400, not $100... and 2) he was extremely chatty "but, not in a creepy way" and had a great conversation with her (a graduate student at the time) about the importance of education. Seems consistent.
