Jack Ryan's choice of saving the little sisters also gives him something he's never had. A truly REAL family. The Wynands turned out to be a false memory implanted into his head. His birth father Andrew was extremely emotionally distant and forced his son to kill him just to prove to Jack that he's a slave and has no will of his own. Jack escapes Rapture and adopts children who have no family anymore just like him. His birth parents are dead and his imaginary parents never existed in the first place. He refuses to let this ruin his worldview and proves to his Rapture family that he is no slave but is in fact a man. A man with daughters. A man who is a father in law. A man with future grandchildren. A man with a family. A man who chose to live his life as a father and not as a slave meant to obey. He paved his own path to follow and made his own legacy. He probably resumed his fabricated farming lifestyle with the addition of his new children. He teaches his kids how to plant and make use of the land. He encourages his daughters to follow their dreams as long as it doesn't have anything to do with building underwater cities. He lives on until old age and dies being remembered not as a hero of Rapture but as a self made farmer and a great dad.

@@bgheseger6937 the slug just gives you quicker regeneration of a damaged part of your body and makes you more resilient, that's why little sisters are tough and manage to survive way more damage than normal kids their age would. As for Jack, his growth was extremely rushed artificially, he has a body of a 20 year old when in fact he _existed_ for only 4 years or so. I guess such things don't go unnoticed by the body, so it ages just as quickly as it was forced to develop...

Would that make Jack an alternate version of Elizabeth? Andrew Ryan is essentially the Comstock of this Universe. Elizabeth/Anna is Comstock/Booker’s Daughter. While Jack is the Son of Andrew Ryan. I've always wondered how Jack managed to ensure that *everyone* died in the crash, but that he survived, lol. A couple of notes: Jasmine didn't get pregnant accidentally. She was already in financial difficulty, and was approached by Tenenbaum and paid to get pregnant and then have them take the fetus. "It wouldn't be like a *real* pregnancy" she was told. This is in the audio diary under her bed. Tenenbaum doesn't tell him to become a Big Daddy to help him face Fontaine. It's that all of the doors Fontaine has gone through are not able to be opened without a Little Sister. He has to become a Big Daddy in order to get the girls to trust him and go with him to open the doors so he can *get* to Fontaine.

I would assume he would have his vocal chords repaired. Even in the 1950s vocal chord surgery was possible, even though it wasn't very common then and it still isn't really common for extreme injury to the vocal chords.

Jack died of precocious old age. Remember that he was a 1 y.o. with the body of a 20 y.o., and the adult Little Sisters were clearly still young when he died.

i kinda miss a "moraly good leader of splicers" ending i mean… what if you could help them?
@dadivderr31614 жыл бұрын
But i still wonder about two things: 1. Where did Jack live when he was on the Surface and what did he do? Has he been kept in hiding? And if so, by whom? Do Rapture-Leaders have People living on the Surface and do Stuff for them? Which brings me to: 2. How did they actually accomplish to keep Rapture a secret? With all the People going there and all the work thats been done there, especially by a Company from the Surface. No submarines wondering what that giant city is under that Lighthouse in the middle of the Ocean? I mean sure its right after WW2, but still, seems like the KGB or the CIA would be interested in that kind of Power and Secrecy. Or what about relatives? I dont think that everyone in Rapture was there with their complete Family. Nobody wondered why Cousin George doesnt write letters from his fancy underwater Palace anymore? And why in his last letter he said he was so spliced up he cant even write anymore? Also after that Plane Crash, didnt anyone look there for the blackbox or for Survivors, maybe even in that Lighthouse? I mean, didnt the Pilots tell the tower that they were being taken hostage? Fontaine killed People on the Surface and nobody cared to investigate? Plus: How did Jack actually learn to handle guns? It seems like he was trained as a Soldier, by whom tho? There were no Plasmids that actually made you a good shot or told you how to reload or even use a gun properly.
@dragonbornexpress5650 Жыл бұрын
1: Unknown, Presumably somewhere in the U.S if the plane route was from the U.S to the UK. (Which would be south of Iceland.) 2: It's heavily implied that Rapture was more like a prison than anything else as, once you were there, you were never allowed to go back to the surface, let alone write to anyone else about the city's existence. This rule especially came in not long before the start of the Rapture Civil War. 3: Most of the submarines, especially American ones, would probably be stationed in the Pacific at this time since Japan was still kind of rebuilding at the time of Rapture's lifeycle; However, here's a better question: Why would anyone suddenly be looking in the middle of the North Atlantic, especially given tensions would be rising in Cuba at the time between the United States and the Soviet Union? (Not quite Cuban Missile Crisis at this point.) 4: This kind of links back to 2; It's heavily implied that Andrew Ryan refused to let people leave Rapture once they arrived at the city, let alone write about it's existence to the outside world, because he feared that either the CIA or the KGB would learn about the city's existence. 5: Who would be looking? There weren't exactly constant sea patrols during this time, especially since most aircraft would be busy with nuclear tests in the Pacific and Eastern Europe, and Black Boxes at this point weren't actually that durable. 6: What tower would the pilots be talking to? Their nearest ATC center was probably in Iceland, hundreds of miles north. 7: That last part is unknown; Presumably there were investigations on the surface, but considering forensic science at the time was in it's VERY early stages, and most investigations relied heavily on eyewitness testimony, it's safe to say that Fontaine covered his tracks by killing or intimidating eyewitnesses on the surface. 8: Presumably part of the genetic programming by Suchong and Tenenbaum; I mean, they WERE able to make him age up at a rapid pace, so who's to say they couldn't have programmed him with combat training?

One thing I never understood is if Jack ages very fast. Then how by the time he dies as an old man the little sisters who are know old enough to be married with kids? It almost like it seems like he aged normally from the end of the game onward.

Might of had something to do with Tenenbaum cracking the mind control with the doses of Lot 192.

If we think about it, Jack could both hate Fontaine and be greatful for him. Without him he'd have probably been aborted by Ryan, but Fontaine only needed him so he can take Ryan out of the picture, and when he did, he wanted to get rid of him since he no longer needed his services. Quite interesting to think about it
