I've seen channels get quite a bit bigger with reactions to these guys. I avoided them at first but I was judging a book by it's cover. Did the same with Ren and FIR. But I can't live without them now.

And also, they made this because the fans kept saying they worked out to their music and wanted a workout song. 😄

TBS: Is it that good? Me: Yes! TBS: Or you're all just crazy? Me: Also yes! Founded in 2010 (as Eskimo Callboy) they were a more or less standard metalcore band, with a mostly humorous attempt though and never shy of mixing genres or experimenting with styles. Early in 2020, original lead singer Sebastian (called Sushi) left to found a new project (Ghostkid). They casted Nico as the new clean singer and decided to introduce him to the fans with a no holds barred - all in - over the top song and video, which was Hypa Hypa (mission accomplished I guess). The rest is partycore history. While most of their material since is uplifting electronicore (aka trancecore) like Pump It, they do have more serious songs too (Hate/Love, Mindreader, Parasite). Besides Nico, the members are: Kevin, harsh vocals, sometimes keyboards or piano, Daniel H., guitar, he does the majority of their programming and production, Daniel K., bass guitar, Pascal, guitar, he and his brother Oliver run a videography company (Schillo Bros.) which is responsible for the vast majority of their videos, David, drums, joined in 2012 after original drummer Michael 'Micha' left in friendship out of private reasons. In March of 2022, Micha filled in for a live performance on a German tv show (they played Pump It) as David was on a humanitary mission at the Polish-Ukranian border. Great reaction! Despite not knowing what was going on, you definately caught the spirit immideately. If I see someone carelessly joining in on the hip thrusts, I just know they'll appreciate basically everything EC does!

Always a pleasure to find new Electric Callboy reactors. This was fun to watch. 😄🙃 If you want to take a look at what EC have done so far, you will have to catch up to 14 years of band history. If you want a short synopsis of their career, here are some of the bullet points: (‼Attention: Wall of text/Info dump ahead‼) 💖The band was founded in 2010 as Eskimo Callboy by six guys from Castrop-Rauxel a former coal mining city in the eastern part of the Ruhr Area within the state of North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany 💙Name change in 2022 to Electric Callboy - they explain the reasons in two videos on their KZbin page. 💛In 2020 their singer Sebastian 'Sushi' Biesler left the band to found his new project 'Ghostkid' and was replaced by Nico Sallach a longtime friend of the band whose own Band (To The Rats And Wolfs) was newly disbanded at the time. 💜The introduction single for Nico 'Hypa Hypa' was also the international breakthrough for the band. Since then they had headline tours in Europe, USA (sold out) and Australia (sold out). Electric Callboy in its current manifestation is an absolute LIVE-Band! They truly shine on the stage - give it a try and watch a live concert. Like this one from 2022, they played in a relatively small venue, a mix of old (Sushi) and new (Nico) Songs: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a3OzdHurfb-op8U Live footage of Sushi-era EC is way rarer, because… well, let's put it diplomatically: sometimes his signature intensity was a bit much and tampered with the live quality. ❤They never stuck to one genre and were counted as Metalcore, Trancecore, Post-Hardcore, Electronic Rock… and recently the internet dubbed them Partycore. Their general sound changed somewhat with the joining of Nico, as his clean rock, almost pop-sounding voice is distinctly different to Sushi's emo/punk-rock voice. With Sushi EC sounded rougher and a little harder in general, but I think this sound isn't lost. If you listen to the new songs in a live setting, it will be evident that even the songs of Tekkno sound way harder if the guys play them live on stage - prime example would be Spaceman. The guys always said they would make music which suites their personal mood at the time of writing and since 2020 and the pandemic and all the restriction that came with it, they made mainly fun/comedic music as a kind of therapy for them and their audience. Nevertheless, their catalog includes some really divers sounds; the funny ones are easy to find and most commenters will suggest them anyways, so I will list some of the more serious songs for you in no particular, definitely not complete order: 🔹My Own Summer🔹Best Day ft. Sido🔹Back in the Bizz🔹Crystals (the only Song I really like better with Sushi's Voice)🔹Rehab🔹VIP🔹The Scene ft. Fronz 🔹Shallows (also a good Sushi-Song)🔹Supernova🔹Made by America🔹Hate/Love🔹Prism🔹Mindreader🔹Parasite🔹Neon Generally speaking, you can't go wrong with any EC song, there are very few that aren’t killer and non that are bad. Greetings from Germany 🤘🔥🖖 Some additional Information The current members are: ▪Kevin Ratajczak: shouter, text writer, supporting clean vocals/harmonies, keyboards/synthesizers, producer (2010- present) - and yes big guy, 6'4" ▪Nico Sallach: clean vocals, text writer, supporting shouter (2020-present) - he is 5'7" ▪Daniel 'Danskimo' Haniß: lead guitar, composer, producer (2010-present) ▪Pascal Schillo: rhythm guitar, backing vocals, arrangement, videography (2010-present) ▪Daniel Klossek: bass guitar, backing vocals (2010-present) ▪David(-Karl) Friedrich: drums (2012-present) Past members: ▪Sebstian 'Sushi' Biesler: clean vocals, first shouter, text writer (2010-2020; left after let's say 'creative differences' to pursue his solo carrier with his new project 'Ghostkid') ▪Michael 'Micha' Malitzki: drums (2010-2012; left because of personal reasons; he subbed in 2022 for the band as David Friedrich was absent and on a humanitarian mission on the Polish-Ukrainian border) They have six studio albums: 🔹Bury Me in Vegas (2012) 🔹We Are the Mess (2014) 🔹Crystals (2015) 🔹The Scene (2017) 🔹Rehab (2019) 🔹Tekkno (2022) 🔹and start of 2024 they announced that the work on a new album has officially started two EPs: 🔹Eskimo Callboy (2010) 🔹MMXX (2020) and two live albums: 🔹The Scene - Live in Cologne (2018) 🔹HYPA HYPA Tour - Live in Ludwigsburg 2022 (2023) 🎶If you want the deep deep-dive into EC-world I would recommend the 'Making of…'-videos and the Tour Vlogs on their own YT channel or on TankTheTech's channel. Tank is a professional roadie, who turned reactor during the pandemic. He contacted the band for some interviews and they became friends, it grew to the point that he was their tour manager on the North America tour last year and since this year is their assistant TM globaly…

This band is amazing, and they are hilarious with everything they do! Great beats, and I definitely recommend looking up the lyrics if you can’t quite understand them! Definitely check out Every Time We Touch (Cover), Hypa Hypa, and We Got the Moves in that specific order! And I say that order because Every Time We Touch is familiar with everyone our age, and then Hypa Hypa was their KZbin attention grab, and We Got the Moves is just a perfect follow up (it’s actually my favorite song by them!) my post is long enough as it is for the “lore” about this band, but keep reacting to them, and your channel is sure to grow!

They wrote this song, because they heard from their fans, that they often hear their music when working out, and Kevin (screamer) was in the "scene" As for deaper meaning, I would not overdo it, the genre ist partycore, most of their songs are FUN and are made to entertain, they take the quality of what they do very seriously, they want to ENTERTAIN, and they do. They have a few ferous songs (i.e. Parasite and Mindreader), but most of them are ment to entertain. Hypa Hypa was their big break throug internationally, came out during Corona, and becuase they could not tour they ended up making 7 versions of Hypa Hypa with 7 other german artists from different genres. also check out their making-offs, vlogs super entertainment

Welcome to the Electric Callboy rabbit hole (positive response is auto subscribe), a fantastic German band that mix metal, EDM, and pure pop into memorable earworms. Their Tekkno album was probably last year's best drop, Just a FUN band maybe go to "We Got The Moves", "Hypa Hypa", or "Spaceman" next? EC are great and correctly described as 'the happiest band on earth' by most KZbin reviewers, also a great live band!!
