How to Play Freecell

around 5 min in you could have stored the black single king in a free cell and layed off in sections to put red jack on black queen. move 9-8-7 in column 10 and jack on black queen put 987 back on the 10. Not to be critical sometimes I have an obvious move and dont see it like a red 6 in a freecell and a black 7 in the field. Its important in my opinion not to have to many short stacks in the field like 3 or 4 or 5 cards following suit then they cant be moved when needed like a 3456 and move to a 7 with only a couple of spaces open. Often it willl say you cant move not enough spaces but if you manually move them it works. I love the strategy of this game its addicting. I like the way you think and explain. Its nice to have an insurance card also like a red 4 which could have been laid off in the completed cells A 2 3 so on cells, just to help in case plus you may actually need it

Ohw damn, that's why sometimes my cards won't move, one at the time.. I guess this includes putting a row or some card on a free space.. Now it makes sense. :D Thank you!

At 5:10 you could have moved the whole stack if you just moved up the king. Free columns allow a lot more moving slots.

Another tip for new players, there is an option to choose which game to play (i.e. game #3200) so you can select the same game to play until you figure that game out instead of having to face a new random game every time you fail, which is frustrating

Saying it’s just like some other game your viewers may or may not know is just about the worst way to teach. It’s like me saying to my math class, “...um, so yeah, Bessel Functions are basically power series that solve the bessel equation. The discrete functional form is just like a fourier series. Okay, we’re done....” bad explanation. Here’s to the hope that you get better at this.

good criticisms! this was a while ago and i wasn't exactly verbose with how I approached this. Actually I was pretty luck in how this game showed interesting gameplay concepts, but yes, you are correct about how my speech was.
