I have this disease as well although my vision isn't as bad and has been stable since I was born doctors say I may be one or three rare cases that stay stable foe life. although I do fear of losing my vision I have available technology to help me in class. I forgot to mention I am 14 and an advanced honors student at a high school in New York City. I admire the way that you feel positive about the issue of having this hereditary disease

hi thank u for inspiring me. i also have an RP. i can still see, i had cataract surgery already. however my left eye is not good now and I can feel it already.

I have retinitis pigmentosa I was told a few years ago at moorfields eye hospital I've only lost upto 40 degrees of vision but it still affects me day and night

I just found out i have rp and idk how to take it im actully really scared of goin blind and im also afraid i telling peaple that i cant see becouse im scared that ima get bullied but this video showed me that i should not be scared

Don't be scared. There are a lot of organisations and people that can support you. The best way to cope with it is accept it and try living your life. Easier said than done, I know but if you need any advice please email me
