When COVID came in 2020 and 2021, I listened to this song often and wished the nation could hear it. It took me back to the 80's and 90's when our people were suffering and dying from AIDS and Crack addiction and incarceration. The video clearly shows the pain on the faces of the women in the congregation. You can see their longing for "healing for you soul". This song was a blessing then and it is a blessing now. I thank God for Minister Smallwood and I pray God's blessings over his life.

I loss my fiancee July 3, 2023 to a house fire. We were supposed to get married Dec 30, 2023. He told me once we got engaged that he would love me forever and ever. My forever with him died that day. I was devastated because I talked to him just 3 hours before I got the news of his death. I was Numb. Many family members and friends gave me words of encouragement and they tried to console me as best they could. After I had a few minutes to myself, this is the song I needed to hear to relax my mind. I know earth has no sorrows that heaven can not heal. I am so grateful for anointed Men Of God who can come up with songs that comfort you during times of sorrows are trouble. God Truly Is My Healer. Hallelujah 🙌. I'm not really back to normal yet. @@gregnormal4 Not sure I’d classify myself as a “Fan” as such (although you could say that I am). It would be accurate to say, that I consistently “hear God’s presence” in Richard’s work. Through the years, his music never disappointed. I believe that Richard labors musically in the presence of Holy Spirit to first clearly hear and then accurately pen divine lyrics of spiritual encouragement. I am a gospel music soloist and have done back-up recordings, yes. But…. more so, I am a true worshipper as a lifestyle. Thank you for asking. Blessings!

My family & I have been so discouraged these past few months, seems like were crying more than laughing together nowadays. We have been dealing with so many things regarding our house, soo many things no longer working and we are running low on funds and it feels like we are loosing our house month by month. I have epilepsy and just this pass weekend I had 5 seizures in one night and I left out my house and I didn’t know how to get back in. Then I ran out in front of a car. 2000 I was diagnosed with RA. It started in my eyes. I was so sick, blind and in so much pain that I wanted to die. I would listen to this song over and over. It gave me strength and a will to live despite the pain. One Christmas Eve I was up late listening to this song as usual. I thought I would email Mr. Smallwood to let him know how his song had blessed me through this illness. I finished the email and sent it off. To my surprise he emailed me back some encouraging words that same hour. On what I thought was a lonely Christmas Eve, God showed me favor by allowing Richard to encourage me through song and email. Still listening in 2014.

My brother, only you know what you are experiencing and sometimes, even that isn't fully understood. I have lost 60% of my nucleus family: mother, dad, two baby brothers, born disabled, older brother, and a sister-this year in April. With her, my world was blasted out of its orbit; and I didn't know how I was going to get through that. I prayed the FATHER, SON, and the HOLY SPIRIT to keep her alive, while I was preparing to come home. But my request was denied. It ripped me apart. But GOD consoled me; and assured me that all was well. I still have my moments. What l am saying is He's still in control and the world and you have no sorry that heaven can't heal. It will be alright; in time. Just thank THEM for blessing you to be a part of your life. And if you just believe and keep hold of God's unchanging hand, you will see them again. When COVID came in 2020 and 2021, I listened to this song often and wished the nation could hear it. It took me back to the 80's and 90's when our people were suffering and dying from AIDS and Crack addiction and incarceration. The video clearly shows the pain on the faces of the women in the congregation. You can see their longing for "healing for your soul". This song was a blessing then and it is a blessing now. I thank God for Minister Smallwood and I pray God's blessings over his life.
