Memory unlocked, I totally forgot that as a kid we had this really heavy duty waxed canvas and leather log carrier from LL Bean or Eddie Bauer, I think it used be my Grandfathers, man, that things probably long gone now but its probably more than decent resale, never considered it, growing up in L.A. we barely used it, but up here in Seattle Im bound to find them right? Excellent new bolo!

That's Awesome, when I was in Antique mall here Upstate NY it was a struggle to make money, been dealing antiques for over 40 years so I kinda know what I'm doing, just not enough traffic.

Wish I knew way back and what I know now! Lots of money to be made! TY!! I hardly drive anymore, so I can’t do what you do! So much luck to you!! 👍😘

Still curious about how people with booths find their space. Is it like how people shop for apartments (price, location, etc)? How do you set the booth up? How to price items? How to source items?
@TheBonafideHustler1 Жыл бұрын
lots of questions and the antique mall said I can make a video on all this when I want to - from the booth!
@HoonAgain Жыл бұрын
@@TheBonafideHustler1 definitely looking forward to when you can do this Chris. Your viewers/subs are hella curious. You could do a series on your booth content alone I bet. Just an idea.

Very cool. Loved that video. They're all good, but this one was something I hadn't seen before. Those items make sense in a booth because of shipping.
@TheBonafideHustler1 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! yeah shipping can really eat up some profit - hence booth bound!
@blakesmith257 Жыл бұрын
@@TheBonafideHustler1 Totally makes sense. Also some items are probably just better in the booth than online. Off brand clothes that look really good, pearl snap shirts since you're Austin, etc. etc.

Just wondering, At your "Antique booth" do items need to be Old, or can you put any items in it? New stuff and the like too.

anything vintage retro antique technically

Thanks for the info! This is rad!! I'd love to do the resell thing, but here in Portland Oregon you go to the Bins and it's wall-to-wall resellers and tons of teens/early 20's guys w/ Nikes, baggy pants and tees w/ prints. Ugh. Not that I have the same taste as them, but they are in the way, make a lot of noise and are just generally annoying. Got into thrifting almost 30 years ago after reading Kurt Cobain shopped at thrift stores and back then it was not cool, no one did it other than people who were working class/poor. I'd get made fun of. Then later on high school kids showed up. Then the KZbin reseller garbage. I'd have no problem finding stuff to resell, I'm around lots of people in Portland, musicians to millionaires, so a lot of ideas about what people like, but also have my own style most of all.
@TheBonafideHustler1 Жыл бұрын
style is everything when it comes to reselling and the booth tbh. The people there tell me often that my "eye" is good for neat items.
