What a helpful video! A great adaptation on the Calendex system, because I also did not want to flip back and forth in my journal.

Bonjour! Tres useful! Your final calendex/futurelog system is what I am aiming for! TFS the evolution and your thought process - so helpful. I've been experimenting with and tweaking various calendars, planners, futurelogs, and calendexes for 4 years. Because we all have different lifestyles, finding the 'perfect' system for me has been a long process. But the good news is, I'm almost there! I subscribed to your channel a while back. I also like how you notated the days of the week with their French symbol, but refer to them using the English name. Even though I am American, I like to use the French weekday names in my calendars - because I do not want my French to get 'rusty'... P.S. I love Paris - only been there once - dans hiver. I had fun exploring the Pere Lachaise cemetery. Hope to visit France again - dans Printemps aux Ete. Merci beaucoup.

I think I'll try one of these. It might be better for me than daily/weekly spreads. I don't have much to track, so it'll save wasting paper.

I see a few teachers using this calender for unit plan pacing. Thank you for explaining this system!

Thank you for the video! Love it. I found this video very useful. I've been wondering if it would work for me. After watching your video I will give it a try for next year with my own twist. Probably by adding a note boxes with each of the months after the calendex. Thanks again for the info, loved seeing the comparison of the old and the new.

Merci beaucoup pour ta vidéo. Moi aussi j'utilise la couleur pour catégoriser les entrées de mon BuJo. J'utilise aussi le principe de la flèche colorée pour indiquer la période vacances scolaires puisque j'ai 3 enfants.

Since you only ever have 1 or 2 things with maybe 5 words in total per day - why do you even need these extra future log pages? Just put the description right in the calendex and voilà. Then you don't have to flip even one page. I use a calendar system that has a monthly overview with 6mos/spread just like those last examples of your calendex. If you typically have

Like Ricardo, I normally only have a few items per day. But in some seasons I have more projects, events, and chores. In addition, I have large handwriting. So I would enjoy testing the final 'hybrid' version...as I do not like to flip back-and-forth either.
