Bored Cyborg ... my horror recommendation for you is "Dead of Night" from 1945, released by Kino in 2019. One of their best restoration ever !

Just checking out some of your older vids. I thought I had a pretty decent KL collection but you only showed 1 that I own. Rawhead Rex. There was a few others there I love that I didnt know were available on blu ray. Like Real Men. Love that movie. I own the dvd but I may need to pick up that blu ray of it. Havent seen Space Camp in years but it was a childhood favorite too. I guess KL has a lot larger selection than I thought. Lol. I guess if I have anything in my collection that I'd reccomend it'd be, Highway To Hell, Haunted Honeymoon, Transylvania 65000, Fistful of Dollars (really the whole Man With No Name trilogy), oh and I only have the KL dvd but another must own is Remo Williams. It's one of those childhood favorites that just hearing the theme music puts a smile in my face. 😁👍

Thanks for digging into the vault for some older vids, and thank you for the kind words. That Real Men DVD might fetch you $10 or so. Kino's selection always surprises me in terms of their vast array of films and genres. They are awesome. I definitely want the films mentioned on blu-ray. I could've sworn I had a copy of Remo Williams on DVD or blu... Maybe it's in the closet. I need another shelf, haha! Remo is awesome, btw.

my Dollar Trees In Eugene, Oregon are getting their blu's and dvds, I got to dig through the boxes 1st at 2 of my trees... they had Satanic Panic on blu and dvd (with the Panic slip) They had a bunch of Anime on blu ( cutesy type stuff ,no mech) and a bunch of the usual stuff. each store had 3 to 6 boxes 3/3/2022

i Saw Metropolis for the first time just yesterday! It's really good. It's not my favourite silent film I've ever seen but it's still very much worth watching! My favorite silent films are probably The Lost World 1925 and The Man Who Laughs.

Nice! I NEED to sit down and watch it. I anticipate loving it. The Lost World is incredible (have you seen the Flicker Alley Blu-ray?) I’ve yet to see The Man Who Laughs (also from FA) but I own it and cannot wait to check it out. Thanks for watching, amigo!

@@theboredcyborg Yes I have the Flicker Alley releases of both films, Both films look fantastic but I would say that The Lost World looks spectacular sometimes, such clarity for such an old film, it's beautiful to see. The Lost World's blu ray has a bunch of great extras too, most notably it has 3 short films by the director that also feature stop motion dinosaurs. The best looking silent film blu ray I've seen is Der Golem... I was actually blown away at how well preserved that film looked.. Holy shit.. Especially when you look at scenes of it on KZbin afterwards, it's like a different movie! Which is funny and ironic to say that Der Golem was preserved so well because it's actually the third movie in a Golem trilogy but the first 2 are completely lost to the world 😔.. Thankfully the film is a prequel to the other 2 anyway despite being the third film so we're not losing anything plot wise.

Krakatoa, Hero & the Terror, The Spiral Staircase, and X: The Man with the X-Ray eyes, aaghhhh...too many I want! They are such a great distributor. They really dig into the archives and pull out some nearly forgotten gems. In regard to the Kino sale: I can not be spending right now, and I'm sure you could imagine why! theboredcyborg : nothing wrong with being a cheap ass collector I'm learning fast how to become one. Lol. I'm working as I work at an animal rescue and sadly there is an increase in abandoned animals. So sad. But when I get home I am now making time to watch some of the many movies I have bought over the past year and never had time to watch. It is indeed a good time to be a collector because we finally have time to enjoy our collections. You'll know the right time to start buying again the movies will be there. In the meantime keep maki h your videos they mean alt especially now. Take good care of yourself and enjoy your collection.

Hey Bored Cyborg I have a strong recommendation for you: you love horror and the 1920's; the book Wasteland: The Great War and the Origins of Modern Horror by W Scott Poole would be right up your proverbial alley! I'm reading it right now and accompanying it with watching early horror films. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!! He talks about how e horrors of WWI found a place in early horror films, books and art. Really interesting!

I really like No Retreat, No Surrender! In fact I like all 5. King of the Kickboxers 2 is not real food but it's there. This is one of the only films of Van Damme's I have on blu ray. I have Code of Silence which is my favorite Chuck Norris film. I have Viv Maria, Convoy, Oscar, Heart of Midnight and Rivers Edge. My brother has the movie Freeway with Billy Drago. Kino is currently selling out of many of their stock at a discount price. Going out of print titles are cheap. I'm thinking of buying a few.
