As a senior citizen all things like yard work have gotten hard to do physically so on behalf of a fellow senior I appreciate what you do, in addition so many seniors have limited funds in their budget as well so I know the seniors who you help are very appreciative of you giving them the feeling of having a nice manicured yard at a “price” that fits in their minimal budget

@@Swim136 The society structures have changed. There are more old people than newborns. Many smaller towns are full of old people who can`t help each other as they used to. The Middle Classes are vanishing. Smaller and even larger towns are dying because local companies have been ruined. Most people who are in their 80s or 90s had 1,2, or 3 children who moved away in order to find work. The parents of today's old people usually had more than 3 children who were less educated and had "simpler jobs". Consequently, younger people didn`t leave and stayed near their parents. In addition, many of those who only had 1-3 children often outlived them. In smaller towns with enough middle-aged people, the habit of helping each other still exists :) Not all good things have vanished from these awful times. And this channel is proof of that fact :)))

You are an angel! Helping a senior is way up there on my list of good deeds. And you are right, he also probably needed the company. When I am out walking the dogs, I go through downtown and it can be a bit rough with homelessness, drug use, etc but I always stop to talk to anyone who speaks to me and the dogs. I let them have a moment with the dogs because I realised, it can make their day to speak to someone who can see them as a person and is willing to treat them as an equal.

The other neighbors after a few days of watching you work, feel safe enough to approach you and ask if you could help in some areas that are needed in their yards. On your X jet, put a 2 foot long piece of 3/4” pvc into the bleach bucket and put the input hose down through the pipe to keep the hose in the bucket. (Cut the bottoms of the pipe and hose off at an angle). Great job, Kevin!

I absolutely loved and needed your written narrative on this one!! Knowing there is someone out there who understands people out there are alone and lonely is healing for me and a great comfort. I won't go into my own story except to say a lot of those 55 and above are alone, and unfortunately do have family that even when they've tried to reach and connect, are ignored. It's honestly part of the old age stigma of society deeming elders as simply too old to be useful and just waiting for Heaven. You make such a difference in your views and actions, it brings the Jesus with skin on human touch and I appreciate you for it. May God bless you and your family in great abundance! Several things amazed me about this story ...that you mowed the cut branches in front of the house (so efficient!) That you're able to wash the walks and the muddy water just drains away...you were able to cut that big tree without damaging that house (skillz!) and that the foliage isn't damaged by the bleach cleaning solution! You're so experienced and amazing and the closeups show your beautiful eyes...I'm sure your wife will agree. Such a beautiful family 💙😇😊
