Sufjan is an Arabic name. I'm half Tunisian, and it's a pretty common name over there. I remember I thought it was so weird when I first heard about him. A Christian Boy with a Muslim name. Quite funny.

They didn't cut him off. This is a part of one large streaming video. KZbin sets a time limit for videos and I had to chop it up into several parts and I haven't gotten all of the parts up. Be patient though, I'll get it all up within the next week or so.

I think he's working on it. Right now, he's working on an album about birds and he just did some long like thirty minute piece for the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra about a bridge. But, I think that he is looking to finish the states. New York is supposed to be the last one... boo!

I think Sufjan was a little over-ambitious with the whole "an album for every state" endeavor. However, with that being said I will compose a piece of music for each state because that's at least doable. It's a memetic nod to Sufjan's idea.

@getfantastic I don't think that is what Tcat means. it would be like calling someone chinese because they have similar features even if they have no relation...it's not an insult just a misinterpretation of observations-it is annoying being called something your not because you act that way. I personally don't like being labeled something I'm not no matter how good or bad it is. the insult is being called something your not it is not necessarily the label

Being a part of the church I've met a lot of straight dudes like Sufjan. He's probably just a celebate christian man... i don't think he deflies himself with sex of any kinds because of his beliefs
