This is my favorite of their songs. I love the lyric "You wrote me a note, the pages were blank. I should have known: Invisible Ink." GENIUS! And his voice! Wow! It's so pure.

Music, when combined with a pleasurable idea, is poetry. Music without the idea, is simply music. Without music or an intriguing idea, color becomes pallor, man becomes carcass, home becomes catacomb. And the dead are but for a moment, motionless. The dodos are true musicians, whose music always takes me on an adventure with every song.

On most steel stringed guitars the first two strings (when going high to low) are silver in color, and a lot of times end up turning almost black with use. with the dark color of the fret board they usually become hard to see. On nylon stringed guitars the first two strings are clear.

hi.. just got the album.. it's pretty good.. kinda wild in spots.. I'll have to give a few more spins to really form an opinion.. funny thing is, on the CD, it's basically 2 guys. ALSO recently acquired: New FLEET FOXES... GREAT harmony singing.. Exxcellent writing as well.. and sounds uncannily as if it could have been recorded in 1968!!
@thisgurlthatgirl16 жыл бұрын
The piano was most definitely a unique and genius touch! I haven't heard the entire album but I have downloaded a few tracks like winter, fools and undeclared and those a pretty freakin sweet. So the rest should be spiffy. Make it a point to check the entire record out and then you can tell me what you think.

If you have a nylon string guitar putting steel strings could quite possibly snap your guitar in half while your tuning it. Not to mention going from nylon to steel would probably kill your fingers.

@crvetteguy And bands that are making music just so that they can make more money are most often bands that I find have very little to offer.
