What is so amazing about Patricia Routledge is that she was in her mid-sixties when she filmed such physical episodes. The claim is that only two scenes were stunt doubles. That’s remarkable. She is an international treasure and so is her supporting cast.

yes very understated against the larger than life Patricia Routledge. One of the most touching scenes I ever saw on British television was when he guest starred on Doctor Who. He played this lifelong-impoverished old man who suddenly found himself blessed with a decent nest egg to live out the remainder of his life with and the way he played that scene was just amazing. Normally, "winning big with sudden wealth" scenes are played as cheap, petty victories on screen. But Clive Swift delivered it with such earnest, heartfelt emotion, it made me weep. A true talent. RIP. :'(
