Thank you for going over this tournament, your comments and play are always super helpful. I made 60.5% this week, an unusually good result. Bid 5cl on board 2, sacrificed down 1, but still better than defending 4H making. Also Bd 8 bid up to 4D -1, but still better than losing to 3SW. I'm trying to take more risks, especially when not vulnerable.

Tied for 3rd is my best showing (pun intended). My favorite bid was opening the 1st hand with 13 hcp, but three 10's and a chunky 5-card suit 1NT

FWIW... Bd 2 does NOT make 4S because defense gets a club ruff Bd 8 the heart 9 did blow a trick but you would have had to play a Trump to get the extra trick. Otherwise you can't shut out the ruff in dummy
