Do you think East should have bid the 3S straight away on board 2? I appreciate the spades are a little weak, but I would have opened 3S as dealer not vulnerable against vulnerable. Do you think there was merit in holding the bid until after South opens?

Should you have considered bidding 4S over 3S on bd 2? You have such great cards for clubs.
