@@theurbanloner8879 Facts. My first contact with FPS was Wolfenstein 3D. Imho BF1 is simply unmatched in terms of atmosphere. Sound is superb and graphics speak for itself. The only two downsides I can think of is gas floating through walls and no player customization (no clown BS of course). Masterpiece of a game.

@@kRiz-1988 I personally dont mind the lack of customization but I can understand those that do except the kid clown shit as you stated lol. I mean you can tell a lot of heart went in to the game . Even the campaign was good . When the pigeon was released and at the conclusion of it I literally applauded . Hard to believe its 6 years old it was way ahead of its time in sound design, aesthetics grittiness and just overall gameplay. When I fire a gun in game you get instant satisfaction . When an explosion goes off I feel like I'm covered in dirt . The kill sound itself is an addiction. Sadly I dont think we will see another not with crossplay sbm and the lot. Sorry, I could go on and on about bf1 lol .

Battlefied 1 is one of the best fps games. Too bad that here in Brazil almost nobody plays it anymore. We only have 4 or 5 servers. I play operations mode a lot with the North American server people. There is a class here in Brazil that follows your channel.

It will be a loong time until BF1 is surpassed. It might not have the best gunplay (BFV) but the athmosphere is INSANE. You really feel the war.

Regarding cross play: I think that is a HUGE mistake on Dice:s part. I, as a console player, don't want to meet a player that has mouse and keyboard, a computer that's 10x as fast, high refresh rate screen and potentially running wallhack and aimbot cheats. That is simply not a way I want to spend my precious gaming time (the few hours I actually have outside of work and family time).

This game and BF5 have the most satisfying sniping IMO. The sound effect of the kill, and the animation and sound design of cycling the bolt are transfixing. I'd pick snipers in those games solely because of how cool the cycling animation was, which is why I loved the Mosin-Nagant and Arisaka

The flare gun keeps spotting even if the round is on the ground so the best way to use it is to shoot the ground where u want to spot people. Dont just shoot it at the air

I've always preferred the M95 infantry over this gun but this gun had an amazing sound to it. Never got used to the one hit kill feature, saw it more of a luck thing than a skill thing. But you use it very well sir.

So the reason for it seeming to be a luck thing for it to one shot is just the kill range, hitting anything from the upper chest to head at a certain point for multiple rifles is a 100 damage guarantee, of course assuming they're between that range

I feel like I'm the only one who liked the sweet spot. It made bolt actions feel punchier and let you play scout in a variety of different ways. I liked sniping in V and even 2042, but the Rifles all felt too similar. Anyway, would like to play more, but EA Play decided to add an update that auto detects HDR which crashes my display out because Windows HDR is off and I can't mind a setting in the cfg file to disable it.

It’s always disappointing when, after a retreat, the team as a whole doesn’t defend along the natural, geographic defense lines, and instead just sit in sniper nests or respawn and sit in the new points. Like that last bit, it was you and three other guys trying to hold the hill line while at least nine snipers were in windmills way behind y’all, without line of sight on the big, open hillside the enemy team had to push up.

BF1, and even more specifically Operations in BF1, is a masterpiece and the entire series at its highest point. Also, wildly successful financially. Dice/EA's response? Gut everything that was great and unique about BF1 and produce two disastrously bad BF games in a row that are financial disasters. There is a model for BF to return to greatness *and* financial profitability. It's Battlefield 1.
