I have only played this game at 2, and I feel like we both played a full game by the end of it.. I can't imagine playing with more people and extra rounds.

I recently picked up Meadow and the expansion. I've only played the base, and only solo. I love it. I'm ready to play with the expansion and it's nice to hear there is a slightly new solo mode to explore, though I had no issues with the base solo. I will probably teach this in stages when playing with others and I will definitely use your house rule. It makes so much sense. Thanks for your insights, once again.

@@TheBrokenMeeple I've played it a couple of times now and it's a hit! The house rule we use with both base and expansion is you play with all 5 meadow tiles but can only use 4 of them. So in the base game, each player takes 4 turns per round. With the expansion, each player takes 5 turns per round. Our game last night with expansion ran 2.5 hours with 3 players, but we didn't mind. It was enjoyed by all. ☺

It does fit if you remove the base game insert.

@@TheBrokenMeeple if you flip the expansion card holder upside down it will fit in one of the slots in the base game insert….if you haven’t thrown it away yet 😂
