Oh Tony! You can tell you are a good Daddy! Only a Father would see a door in a wall and start creating a wonderful world full of stories! I love it! Now I will have to go see that special door when we come next year! Thanks and keep telling those sweet babies stories and history.

As a visitor to Edinburgh, I have often seen these vennels and little lanes, but have never ventured through in case it was a dead end or landed me somewhere I didn't want to go. Thank you, this will save my shoe leather on my next visit! PS Isn't Candlemaker's Row a wonderful name for a street!

Tony, Thanks for the great videos. Your shortcut to Cowgate got me thinking about Ian Rankin's Inspector Rebus murder mysteries in which he often refers to the mortuary. Would you be able to do an Inspector Rebus tour of Edinburgh sometime that showcases locations in his books?

We're making notes for our return to Edinburgh in a few months. We've stayed in the New Town on previous trips, and based ourselves in the Highlands for further adventures, too. This will be our first time staying in The Grassmarket. So looking forward to it and to checking out some of the Clan Broonford favourite local, small businesses. -- Sandi & Greg H (Canada)

Mornin Tony, great informative video, that is definitely the best view of the castle 👍Love that bit of Edinburgh where Greyfriars Bobby & the Kirkyard is. Wowww good short cut to Arthurs Seat, i'll keep that in mind because was never sure how to get to it.

Love this video! I was reminded of a shortcut from our hotel in Bakehouse close up to Regent road, going past the Loudan restaurant and the Government Building and catching the bottom of Jacob’s Ladder in an underground car tunnel. A quick way to the bus station. Keep these videos coming and thank you so much!

Absolutely loved it. I knew about two of them, but not the last one. I didn't go go Arthur's Seat area or Holyrood Palacehouse as I should have. I may next time. I'll try to remember the cuts and the time savers. OK, this is me NOT arguing with you about Red Dead. I love watching the glitches. When I would teach, if the kids did their work we would watch Red Dead glitches on Fridays for 1/2 the class. I had to turn the volume off, but it was fun to make our own comments. Just amazing.

Hi Tony. I've got an idea for a video. How about a wee (pun intended) video as to where the public loos are situated? Useful to everyone but especially people travelling with young children. Mummeee, Dadeee, I need the loo!😮

There really aren’t not that many public toilets in Edinburgh any more, shops like Lidl allow you to use their toilets. Museums have toilets, as do bigger supermarkets.

Quick question Tony. When my sister and I are in Edinburgh in September we will have to wear masks as I have cancer. Will we be mocked or harassed at all? What do you think? Thank you for all your great content.

I'm going on a Goddess Tour in 2 weeks. I'm going to tell the girls a wild story about the door in the wall. It will be a story of man who falls in love with a beautiful woman who he sees go through the door. Only to be told by the locals that it's a faery door and if he goes after her he can't come back. Just like Tir na Nog. He was never seen again.
