Up until now, I never even knew there was even such a thing as a man soprano! I knew of counter-tenors, but never sopranos! My ignorance! Bruno de Sa is AMAZING!!! And reading his various interviews, his whole outlook is really impressive!! Such a humble and kind individual!!

Bruno de Sá knows how to sing baroque music. He understands ornamentation, one of the most important features of this music, and sings the ornaments beautifully. He is an intelligent musician. BTW, fun fact(s): Exultate Jubilate was originally intended for a male soprano, in this case a castrato (or to use the polite term of that era: "musico"). Also, Mozart was 17 when he wrote this piece!

Voix magnifique et pratiquement juste tout le temps. Effectivement, un rapprochement avec Philippe Jaroussky se révèle nécessaire pour travailler sur la virtuosité. A moins que sa récente collaboration avec Max Cencic ne lui apporte les quelques techniques restant à acquérir pour être grand parmi les grands. Sa prestation 2020 dans "Carlo il calvo" de Porpora prouve que depuis 2017 il a su progresser magistralement. Il peut maintenant venir compléter le travail (et non remplacer) de gens comme Valer Sabadus, Philippe Jaroussky, Christophe Dumaux, Franco Fagioli, Max Cencic, Yurii Mynenko, Andréas Scholl, Damien Guillon, Tim Mead, Iestyn Davies...Donc un de plus, et pas des moindres!

Você estremece. ..wenn für dieses Wunder ein Vergleich möglich ist, dann muss man sagen: Es ist so, als würde ein Singvogel sprechen können...wahrlich unbegreiflich klar und rein, käftig und schön.
