When the child becomes a teenager, sometimes they can be very problematic. Children without a father in their lives have higher school dropout rates and are more likely to go to jail. Both parent’s roles are important. A mom cannot be a dad and a dad cannot be a mom.

My husband worked 10 years trying to fight for his kids in a system that doesn’t respect family ties or the importance of a father in his children’s life. He pays full child support for his kids and his oldest kid is now 19 years old and he’s still paying child support for him although he doesn’t want to see his dad all because he doesn’t want to get his mom mad 🤦🏾‍♀️ so you can fight all your life and still not have a relationship with your children because a crazy woman is using her kids to trying to win a brownie points. I didn’t feel anything when they died. Honestly it was a relief. But there also wasn’t anything redeeming about them. My issues with my dad were that simply he worked too much, didn’t know how to communicate how he felt about things, wasn’t particularly emotionally supportive, but he kept food on the table. He did the best he could. Because he came from shit.

My other son forgave me but the other choses to be estranged from me. Sad really. I love my boy.
