I've been there! Our tour guide made the joke that the bathrooms were "cheek to cheek" lol! It's amazing that a lot more of the city is still buried, and that this is the city St. Paul wrote to in the "Ephesians" in the Bible. There's a nearby fortress Ayasuluk Citadel so the area is covered in Greek, Biblical/Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk Turk and Ottoman history!

Unfortunately, that is the reality, but our visa'a expired and typhoon season was beginning... we also explored what we wanted to and was time to explore new countries and gain followers from around the world😁😁 loved the philippines but we will be back😁

alas, time is able to destroy any city if people leave it, especially since these lands are shaken by serious earthquakes from time to time. It is surprising that the wall with columns still stands today. ha ha your dancing is fun. Tell me better, what are your plans next, where are you going after Turkey?

The façade was actually rebuilt by archaeologists as it was destroyed. But we find it so great that they have rebuilt it so that we can get an idea of how grand this city actually was.😊😊
