the way the Barbatos becomes less "human" in proportions and more animalistic in form seems to represent Mikazuki's change from season 1.

I hope to god that when the mg lupus rex inevitably comes out, they find a way to make the claws colour accurate. I know it can be done, and i know multiple ways to do it. Pre-posed hands. Perfect grade style hands. Individual claw pieces. There's a lot of ways, and i hope they do one.

Has to be my fav mobile suit in all of the fundamental franchise. Love how animalistic it is. Just ruthless and vicious on the battle field and it finally came into the build of it at the end of the anime. I’m a dork so I have to nit pick. Wish the giant sword from lupus and the arm cannons would’ve stayed as a feature. Don’t mind the stuff it has now. Just feel the giant sword was mikazuki’s proper progression from finally learning to use a sword in season 1’s end. And he always seemed shit with rifles so the arm cannons seemed a better fit. More close/mid range combat oriented. I would love to buy both lupus and Rex to mix match to my dream gundam lmao. Okay done needing out now. Sweet build btw. Amazing details with the black but I actually thought it looked good being slight messy. Looked more battle worn before the enamel thinner stuff

April Winsor-Coffman I wouldn't say that, seeing as the Unicorn Destroy Mode took me 5 hours. I'd say the best is the RX-78-2 Revive, the Barbatos or the Gusion. The Gusion is the simplest because of all the big armor pieces.

I'm rating the 1/100 Rex a four stars everything on the Rex is fine just the one thing that bug everyone out is IT CAN'T HOLD HIS WEAPON!!!!! I don't want to go and buy one of those stands so it can hold his weapon and including finding the right things to fix it arms so he can hold his weapon but overall it's a fun kit it's just that one huge problem that bugs me

I'm not discounting that its a flaw, but it is fixable. The joints can be tightened by spraying the balls of the joints directly with topcoat. Also, the new display stands COME with accessory support arms, so that can help quite a bit.

We can probably consider the Hi-Res Model Barbatos either as a MG Titanium Finish or Extra Finish. Though it clearly isn't an actual MG due to it having a pre-assembled inner frame.
