Yesterday i had done this to check whether my competent cell was good or not. But today i see colony in transformed cells whereas smears in control therefore i think there might be some contamination.

If you have individual colonies in the non-control (as opposed to smears) you might only have contamination with the control plate so all hope might not be lost. Best of luck
