ভারতের এক শরনার্থী পরিবার, বদলে দিয়েছে পুরো ভারতের ব্যবসার চিত্র। পুজিবাদকে ব্যবহার করেছেন কর্মীদের উন্নতির লক্ষ্যে। বলছি টাটা শিল্পগোষ্ঠির কথা।সল্ট টু সফটওয়্যার, টাটা গ্রুপকে মানুষ এভাবেই চেনেন। টাটা লবন, টেটলি চা, টাটা মোটরস, এয়ার ইন্ডিয়া, টেলিকমিউনিকেশন, টাটা স্টিল, জাগুয়ার, ল্যান্ড রোভার সব মিলিয়ে শিল্পগোষ্ঠীটির ২৯ টি তালিকাভুক্ত কোম্পানি রয়েছে। কোম্পানির বার্ষিক রাজস্ব আয় ১০ হাজার কোটি ডলারের বেশি। ১৫৫ বছরের পুরনো এই ব্যবসা। এই অনন্য প্রতিষ্ঠানটির ২১ বছর ধরে চেয়ারম্যানের দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন রতন টাটা। এ সময়ে টাটা গ্রুপের আয় বেড়েছে ৪০ গুণ। আর মুনাফা বেড়েছে ৫০ গুণ।
