3:52 Shoutout to Luke for being proud to declare publicly he became an Australian citizen. It doesn’t replace or negate your heritage or upbringing and how you were raised. It’s not a choose “one over the other” but anyone who has the privilege to come to Australia to work, play professional sport, enjoy commercial opportunities that are available (after rugby league) the opportunity to raise a family in a country relatively safe from worldwide standards, kids have access to first world education and schooling system (recognised and respected worldwide), and have the freedoms and opportunities protected by our laws and the nation building that came from the many others before us should show just a little bit more humility and gratitude.

I notice the English players generally refer to Rugby League in general convo as Rugby which is really confusing cos in Australia now it’s better known difference is referred to NRL and Rugby Union and in NZ it’s generally referred to just as league and union.

6:20 Spot on Luke - If a (non Australian citizen) commits/ or is convicted of a crime (eg: DV or say driving accident resulting in fatalities) you are expelled from Australia (never to return ever) and deported back to your country. Congrats Luke on the citizenship anniversary too 🎉🎉🎉.

James the likelihood of Australia and England going to war against each other is highly unlikely. You asked us for help we've never asked you for help

Great guest - maybe good at maths but certainly not good at statistics - best steer clear of gambling. It would appear any sensible person would jump at the opportuity to gain Australian citizenship. With a better standard of living and environment for the majority. If the Australian leaders could only have the guts to play world politics like India and gain the best deals between the super powers, the future would be very bright. However, their actions suggest otherwise. They are being forced to spend $60billion on nuclear subs to antagonise China on the bequest of the US - they are destined to be (or are) subordinate US vassels or even cannon fodder.

@@Thelastmochican77 Don't fool yourself, NRL clubs are more cold blooded than you think. Nobody gets a free ride. Even to go back to the days of the NSWRL, take the case of why Tom Raudonikis left Western Suburbs for Newtown. A competition was run to find West's most popular player with a prize on a new car for the winner, which Tommy would have won in a canter. However, the hierarchy at Wests fixed the competition to award the prize to someone almost nobody had heard of! Why? Because they thought that if Tommy won it, he would have grounds to ask for more money! Tommy found out about the fix and, not surprisingly, left. Tommy should have retired as one of most rarely seen players, a one-club player, but petty greed by petty officials put paid to that! If Luke Burgess got a game in the NRL, it wouldn't have been as a passenger. Anyone who bludges on the playing field or on the training paddock is taking up a spot someone else wants and those who want that spot will soon bash him out of the game!
