thanks for the vid, seems like clever device. can't seem to find answer online, but wondering if this has notch/confirmation when you land on exactly landscape/portrait? appreciate it!

I got the small rig one for my FX30. It actually works with my tamron lenses where some of the other brands were not compatible.

👋🏽 hey ! Excellent video but I can't figure out if it would work with gfx lenses as they are significantly larger then most other camera systems.

Thanks! I would guess no but you could reach out to Benro with the lenses you are considering and see what they say.

Thanks for a detailed and measured review. It _never_ would have occurred to me to use a quick-release plate between body and accessory. Looking very closely at this, and also the Fotopro 1/4-ring device. The biggest advantages of this sort of accessory is that it doesn't obscure the ports and sockets on a camera's left-hand side nor interfere with the flip-out screen. I have an OM-1 and unless I pay an astronomical amount of money for an l-bracket (which may still leave me with the issues i mentioned), I need to seek a solution such as this. I have an Atoll D, which solves all the issues I mentioned, but the size of the Atoll ring (75mm diameter, or so) means I can obscure the hand grip, or obscure the zoom ring on the lens, both of which are unacceptable handicaps. Competitors to the Atoll - such as the NiSi Wizard - have adjustments to allow the ring to get closer to the camera body, but are still flawed.

I discovered a hack today that allows me to mount my D7100 with grip attached. Simply unscrew the mounting plate from the part that attaches to the rotating attachment. Flip it over and re-attach it and you have dropped the plate the necessary amount to use it with a larger camera. 😊

I wonder if it would work with H6D or X2D Hasselblad bodies. H6D in particular with that offset

Not sure. It’s definitely not for every setup.

Neewer has a clamp model with two threaded holes in front that are 20mm apart on center could the bottom camera side plate be completely replaced with a clamp

I have seen some comments saying that it is not stable for big cameras. Atoll X or this one is better? It has a half circle design. What is your opinion?
@theC478 ай бұрын
Not sure. Haven’t used the other product. This isn’t for every set up but it’s good for mirrorless cameras with primes and lenses up to something like a 24-70mm

will this fit to a benro quick release?
@theC47Ай бұрын
It should but I’d check with Benro.

I don't and here's all the info I have... benrousa.com/benro-qrb95-quick-rotating-bracket/ I would reach out to them directly.

Thanks you just setting the box aside. My DNA does not understand opening a box on video. Good vid.
