I am nine years old and I have hearing loss. I will be going to the audiologist soon because he recently found out that I lost more hearing so we have to do the full hearing test. I’ll be going there in five weeks.

I’m 27 I’m hard of hearing and I can’t hear high frequency noises and I can’t tell the difference between certain letter sounds ! You guys are doing the best you can ! I’m in the process of getting a cochlear hopefully it help me!

I love this! My son is getting implanted this Thursday after a looooong wait, we are so excited and nervous of course. He is also deaf in both ears but unfortunately due to other issues he can only get implanted in one ear. But seeing Neo and how he’s doing (since he’s a year older then my son) gives me hope. Even your surgery video was so amazing to see! So thank you for kind of showing my family and i the next steps in this process. Please keep updating us on Neo’s journey because it helps families like mine. And the JTC camp, soooo cool! Thank you for the info. Much love and God bless your family!

Everyone's different the ways they hear and communicate with other people!🦻🏽Especially mapping throughout the hearing processors, Neo may be able to pronounce those English words instead of using an American Sign Language. In my own experience, I had a hearing aid and cochlear implant since June 2013 and chose to speak in an English language as well a sign language.💬🤟🏽People I've met at my college, workplace, and home were surprised that my voice seems very good at explaining anything without using an American Sign Language.👩🏽‍🏫🏫Although being struggled how to understand completely, using the visual learning materials can definitely support a lot of deaf and hard-of-hearing children 🤷🏽‍♀ Hope you guys have a wonderful day!❤
