This is how to cache a simulation with Yeti from peregrine labs. Under I/O you want to change the input mode to groom if you have a groom file that you want to import. My blog: / bjornbs

Hey Bjorn, I have a quick question. I followed this tutorial and cached my own fur. But when i render out, only the first frame cache is there. Do you know why this is happening? My setting for cache input, i checked "override Cache with Inputs", "Ignore Cache Preview", for my output, I checked "updated Viewport While", uncheck "Generate Preivew. Looking forward to hear back from you :)

Goody Wu hi, I dont know what it could be, check that your cache is actually on drive and not corrupt.

Hello!! I'm making a scene, following the steps in this tutorial and I was able to export the cache correctly, but I have a problem. - When activating the cache input method, I can load the fur animation correctly, I see it correctly in the viewport, and in the playblast, but when I pull out a render with the cache enabled, it crash maya, and I have no idea what it might be, I'm using vray and the problem is only when I turn on the cache.. would be great if you could give me some tip, maybe you have another video, but I have not found
