That was an exact duplicate of my first and only Chinook ,when I bowed over thought I was hung up ,til I put a little ass in it then the fish realized he was hooked up fractions of an hour before I caught on ,luckily my fish swam upstream , the terror in it was 90 year old native man saying "uh oh son you hooked a monster ,only monsters take you upstream ,you have a true monster son , up then over then down repeat ,if he went down like yours did ,well "farewell to you oh Spanish lady ,Farewell to u oh ladies of Spain ,yes sir capt. Goodnight Irene , nicem Chinook

Hey captain. Do you guys have a fishing season, or are your rivers fish all season , just that here in the UK most are closed if not all for fishing salmon and brown trout at this time of year.

Most of the sound of the drag was from the river current. A dead fish would take as much line.

Ix GRUB xI M It depends on the species. With Pinks and Chinook they don't taste very good unless they're still close to silver. So that Chinook he caught might not taste so good anymore. Bit iffy. Coho are different. They are still decent too eat even if they are a bit colored already.

zepix I've ate fish far worst in quality and there are a lot of folks in Alaska that would use that fish, especially for the hounds. It's such nice fish you kinda want to release it to keep a strong gene pool then again it probably won't survive, yet even if it died it'll feed the the rest of the ecosystem so oh well. Circle of life.
