In a world where cars now have spaceship performance that's unusable on British roads, the 360 and 430 really were the last of the usable ferrari supercars. The 360 CS is also the most beautiful of all of them, current models included. Although I dream of owning a 458, they just all look a tad transformer'ish now. In any event, your videos are excellent and your channel is brilliant. Enjoy your wonderful collection in good health.

Being a simple pleb I’m not really a supercar person .. so stick to affordable hatches and vans with an occasional oddity like the Honda SMX (count the doors on each side) But Oh my goodness that exhaust note is beautiful .. yours and Jason’s videos are making me want to at least go and have a taste of something ‘super’ at a track day.

Question: in spite of the slowness of the gearbox in comparison to the dual-clutch transmissions of today, do you feel the Stradale's 'box, even in non-Race mode, still shifts quicker than the average sporting driver could manage with a manual; or is it at par?

Glad you enjoyed it, Paul. I would say the paddle shift on a CS is on par with a human shifting manually. There's a noticeable delay compared to a 430, 458 and 488, but that's progress for you.

I have a 2003 Morena with the CS TCU and track the car. My gear changes are quite crisp with no slippage. There may be clutch adjustment issue here.

can actually be that the clutch is slipping during the changes, those cambiocorsa units are know to eat the clutch (this is why you can find Maserati of the same time period at 20K used with the same configuration) and changing it is pretty expensive, with the gearbox elements in good condition and a new clutch changing gears should be metter of milliseconds, slower than a double clutch off course but pretty funny with a good kick in the nuts between the gears

You know FERRARI should do with this car what Aston did with the vanquish. You give Ferrari 45K or so and they then upgrade the paddles to something up to date or change it to a manual.

Love the sound and the whole idea of a pure, stripped out Ferrari but just can't get on with the styling. Never liked the 360 Modena though, even when it was new. The first 'Montezemelo' V8 Ferrari and he wanted to distance his cars from the beautiful but fragile Ferraris that came before. I think he went too far! F355 to 360 was a major step back for me. 430 slightly better. 458 getting there but it took until the Speciale before I ached with desire for a V8 Ferrari again.
