First - I'm so glad you are safe from the fires in LA ❤ Pro tip (I used to work in produce in a grocery store) - do *not* put bananas in the refrigerator! Cold temps will kill them (make them turn black) faster than anything! We weren't allowed to put bananas in the cooler with the other produce at the store! They had to stay at room temperature at all times!

Hey Carla! I've owned a lot of cashmere sweaters and while they might say "dry clean only" -- they aren't dry clean only unless they have special sequins or something like that. I machine wash all my cashmere on delicate/cold, either with other cashmere or separately. Then lay flat or lay over a drying rack. Easy peasy. :)

You can hand wash most cashmere even if it says dry clean only. I hand wash my cashmere sweaters in cold water with all free and clear. I lay the sweater on a dry bath towel, shape it and roll it into the towel to block it for several hours. It’s hung up to finish drying. If you have a mesh drying rack, that’s better for the shoulders of the sweater.

You can hand wash your cashmere sweater even if the care instructions says dry clean. Most manufacturers will do this so people don't put this in the washing machine which would damage the delicate yarn. Letting it soak in warm water with a mild soap will do the trick and you just roll the sweater in a towel to remove excess water and let air dry. Wringing it is not recommended as it could break the yarn. Glad to see your videos again and a Happy New Year.
