For your window treatment, for the sake of privacy, one option would be what I did in my bathroom window. It's peel and stick and looks like frosted glass. Then it can be easily pulled off if you change your mind. You could also just put it on the lower part of your windows. You can't really see through it but the light still comes through. Just an option to consider:-)

When I cleaned under my oven for the first time and leading up to it, I had major, MAJOR anxiety. I even called my mom so I'd have moral support as I tackled it and I was so pleasantly surprised that it wasn't even that dirty. It was such a relief 😓😭😂😌 I think it also helped immensely that I could pull out the bottom drawer and then have my flashlight handy to see what was really go on up in there. For me it's the potential for spiders etc. that really had my mind going into overdrive panic mode.
@dimples71622 жыл бұрын

Great video as usual! Your vids are so relaxing to watch and very inspiring. Couple of cleaning tips for those who care (🤔) - although good enough is good enough! 1)for hard to reach ceiling corners try using a rag tied on the end of a broom or telescopic painters stick. Your ceiling look particularly high though… 2) Try cleaning just ONE window pane as part of a weekly cleaning routine. They eventually all get clean and it makes the light inside so much brighter. Cleaning all windows at the same time is just awful and annoying 😱

Get. A very small brush and get any color paint you like and paint the grout. I did it in my hall bath. I painted the grout turquoise. It looks fabulous Everything in there was turquoise and it needed a pop of color. If i were renting, i would pick a neutral color. But, it has been on the floor now for about 8 months and it still looks great! I used one of those small designer sample sized paint containers. It doesnt take a lot. I used Behr premium.

25:20 As someone who has lived in tiny spaces, who now lives in a 1000sq/ft place, and has cleaned professionally, it's honestly easier to clean larger spaces than smaller ones. With small spaces, you have to move things around, clean the space, then move back. Larger spaces give you more room for cleaning and less effort for moving things to clean.

I loved the dancing! And wow you really deep cleaned that stove. I need to run the self cleaning cycle on my oven but I'm kind of chicken to do it. Walls are often overlooked and yours were so white afterward! It's not spring but I need to do some deep cleaning of a few neglected rooms. I've done about 1/2 of the house and the other half has some areas that really need my attention. I cleaned my back door the other day and whoa it was amazing (and disgusting) how dirty that white door actually was when I looked at it closely. It looks so much better now.

Your one bedroomed flat is not that much smaller than a 3 bedroomed house could be over here in the UK. Your bedroom is huge and your kitchen is bigger than many families here get to cook in. So you're definitely working to keep that amount of space clean. Great job, Carla. Ignore anyone if they criticise - how can you clean under the oven dials if you don't know you can remove them? We all have our little spaces where we just haven't picked up yet how to clean them. You did an amazing job here and I hope you're proud of yourself! :-D Love to Samson!

What’s the song you were playing when dancing in the kitchen? Loved that clip. Do you rent or own the apartment? Just curious since you were talking about changing the window treatments.

Have you thought about getting a stair basket for your front door instead of the woven basket you have there? It’s a basket specifically made to go on stairs. They have them on Amazon. Also, maybe put a small command hook behind the front door for your umbrella. (The few inches between the door frame and the wall.)
