It’s not about stats. Allen deserved it last year because he rallied a 6-6 team to win the 2nd seed, and Allen was responsible for 85% of the Bills touchdowns last year. That’s insane. Lamar was ok statistically, but only responsible for like, 55% of the Ravens TDs last year. This year isn’t merely about stats either. He is making mid players look great and overcoming the Bills’ injured defense that’s allowing good teams to score 30+ points. He’s got a better record than Lamar, and beating teams that matter. He ended the chiefs perfect season, and ended the Lions 12 game win streak.

There is such a bias toward offense in the media's talking points and public perception. The Bills offense is hands down the best offense in the league right now, and Josh Allen is the MVP frontrunner. But their defense is atrocious, and while it's possible for them to win a SB like this, a defense playing this way REQUIRES Allen to play like an MVP every game. It could happen, but even 1 off game for Allen in the playoffs is an early exit for the Bills.

The Lions are the highest scoring team and Buffalo is the 2nd highest plus both defenses have a bunch of injuries. When you only have 25% of you're starting secondary it will normally be a little easier to move the ball. Bills did fantastic stuffing the run which has been their weak spot.

The Bills gave up 44 and 42 points the last 2 weeks… Their defense has been really bad. We can’t just gloss over that cause they won. It cost them a game last week. That’s what’s holding me back from saying they are the best in the NFL

86 points in 2 weeks but still 12th best in ppg allowed. The seem to have lulls every year. The D-line played awful vs the Rams which in turn made the game nearly impossible for the secondary. The DLine came to PLAY vs the Lions, but the secondary was missing 3 of 5 starters so only so much could be done.

The Lions are as good as advertised. We jumped on 'em early and our Defense held them off until we had a 14pt Deficit..21 pt deficit..Detroit was playing from behind U and the 2 RBs wr stuffed. We traded blows BUT the deficit was too. Much to overcome

Lost by 6 points with a 10th string defense. It’s crazy how lucky other teams are that the lions now have 18 some injuries. Just about all of them on defense. Lions would boat race the NFL if healthy

Lamar is great but every touchdown he has is a bomb to a wide wide open reciever. Every touchdown josh makes involve him fighting for every yard. Ive never seen recievers get so open the way they have on the Ravens.
