Mohammad Siraj Captainship is not an option here cause thses players played very well but they don't know anything about captainship. If I must have to choose from the IPL 23', The best Captain was Hardik Pandya and Vice Captain could be Sanju Samson. Nothing against Dhoni Guys😅.

Personally I wouldn't take Arshdeep based on this ipl. Siraj was in the clear all season. Some question marks for me for Gaikwad, Tilak, Pooran. Were a bit too up and down imo. Would probably go with Kohli, Surya and Jitesh

This is why amateurs who don't watch IPL regularly should not create IPL podcasts, 1. Kishan scored 70+ against Punjab in Mohali, where he smashed the same bowler who took the game away from MI and scored a 50 against lsg on tricky pitch, sky had low scores away from wankhede, when he was dismissed early, except lsg where he played an unnecessary shot, MI lost 2 games on wankhede too, chawla was good in 12 games, shit in last 6 games 2.Krunal as a batter is mediocre but as a captain he was much better than expected, and very impressive as a bowler, the game against MI was almost gone, after openers threw their wickets he bowled a 1 run over against sky, and a 3 run over against wadhera, even the game against SRH at Hyderabad, he bowled two peach of a deliveries which changed the momentum otherwise lsg would have had to 200+, he picked wickets early against GT and SRH in earlier game too, bigger failure which you both ignored was lsg's Indian batting which was poor to say the least 3. The bias for gujrat is so evident, hardik fucked up the game against DC, he messed up the Qualifier 1 by changing batting order no reason, they got a match from KL on a platter, if anything gt was gill, shami, Rashid or nothing except final where sudharsan finally got out of gill's shadow 4. Hazlewood went back before game against RR,and Parnell picked up 3 against RR, problem with RCB is not only their batting, it's their homeground, it's as small as school ground, where outside edges go for sixes, 3 seasons RCB went outside of that ground they qualified, the game that costed them was against kkr they couldn't chase down 200, every year bowlers can't be blamed 5. Bhuvi in a crunch game against Lsg after bowling 4 good balls does Mohit Sharma and gives width to pooran without deep point, markram's bigger stupidity was bowling on Abhishek when he himself could have done the same role that sundar did This is why kushal you need to watch the game not read out numbers

@@KZbin_Idee he won't be playing ahead of ks bharat in the first place unless concussion happens, I am not denying his struggles against swinging ball, but he wasn't the problem when he is scoring above 450 runs, miller underperformed, rahane was struggling against spinners and he was primarily batting at the top, If someone says rilee rossouw walks into team when he has just one 50 in about 9 games and single digit score more often than not and kishan is a problem after scoring that many runs, then it's a sheer liking issue for me, also Saha scored 371 runs he got out 11 times in the powerplay, but again here we see both of them moaning kishan is ordinary, why is he picked over Saha, well Saha is the best keeper, but he doesn't guarantee that he would score more than kishan against moving ball This is the problem with only reading numbers, bcoz MI didn't get results early and GT was winning, people don't realise that both Saha and kishan were struggling but kishan was only struggling till sky got back in form, he was also covering up for Rohit's failure and SKY not being in form, in trying to bat longer but got stuck against spinners and got out trying to accelerate, once SKY started getting runs to kishan played much more freely

Of course he doesn't have the same control that Malinga had, but Malinga was an established international bowler who had tons of experience before joining IPL. Pathirana has only played 2 t20is and despite of the lack of experience, he delivered! That's what makes him special.
