Wow. Wow. Wow. I just heard this song for the first time today. It hit me hard. My wife of 45 years passed away suddenly three weeks ago. Many people have expressed their condolences, and bless their hearts, but the words that they have shared are difficult to come by. Pretty much everyone has simply said "I'm so sorry for your loss.." I do appreciate that, but the words of this song are so much more powerful and comforting. This is what I needed to hear. Yes, I need healing, and the Great Physician is there to heal me, and that's what this song is all about.

I am so sorry Bob. Circumstances don't always change. But like the three Hebrew Boys in the fire , and Daniel in the lions den our God is with us in the midst of the trial. I too almost eight years ago lost my wife. And in the midst of the grief God is there. Death is not permanent. One day all the dead in Christ shall rise and we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air and thus we shall ever be with the Lord . Be comforted with these words. Because Jesus rose they will rise too and we shall see them all again.

@@johnutley2132 It's interesting that you mention that God has a plan for me, since I have been focusing on Jeremiah 29:11 since this happened. My life has turned upside-down, and I asked myself "What do I do now? Where do I go from here?" And I remembered what Jeremiah 29:11 says - "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." So, rather than wallowing in my grief, I realize that I have hope. I realize that I have a future. God has not yet revealed what that future is, what His plans for me are, but He will reveal all of that in His perfect timing. In the meantime, I am focusing on Isaiah 40:31 - "Those who wait upon the Lord will have their strength renewed." So, that's what I am doing right now, waiting upon the Lord.

7 years ago our youngest daughter died of cancer. Our youngest son has lymph cancer. My wife has terminal cancer. That doesn't change who God is or His love. He is good and faithful always. I was once an addict and I know that if you keep praying for them as well God will intervene and do something like in my case I went to church with a bottle of mikes hard liquor I hand it to a lady I trusted and she gave it to her pastor they went and prayed over it and the message on that Sunday was the gifts for the temple and the pastor said if your best gift was mines hard liquor lemonade and from that day I been sober from drugs and alcohol for 10 years and this year is gonna be 11 years it’s nothing we c add n say oh yeah I’ll quit drinking it’s a disease know that and it’s up to them both to get help but I’m telling you hide all your valuables and money ok I’ll pray for you

This song!! I so needed to hear this song this morning. My husband's mother is dying from cancer. She has been fighting for 27 years! She's had periods of remission..but it always comes back. Now it is in her lungs and bones. I just pray for a miracle.. at the same time my own mother also has cancer. She is a breast cancer survivor and it is back, in her lung and shoulder! I do believe in miracles! Jesus healed my son from a deadly disease as a baby, so I know that He can heal. Do you think, meds really help with ptsd? Jesus is the only one who can heal memory, heal from trauma. I don't think it is very kind to say everybody else sees your son is not ok. I am sure you want the best for hin, but only Jesus is the answer and not meds. And Jesus is the only one who knows his heart.
