Coyotes are very intelligent and will wait for long periods of time for their opportunity. So glad you saw it and brought that wonderful little girl back in. We lost ours to one that, unbeknownst to us, had been scoping her out while we were gone. She was in a screened in porch. The work you are doing on your van is just so perfect for that space and a really fresh new look. I love everything!💖🤗👍👍👏🏻👏🏻🙏

So sorry you lost your cat to Coyotes😢 I often wondered how people in Canada keep pets safe . Your screened porch was not strong enough , those coyotes must be determined and clever . A roof screened area might be safer if possible . I worry here a out cars and nasty humans . ( Ireland) when cats go out . I hope no more pet losses . 😊

@@paulakelly563 actually, the patio was fine. It was after we let her out….she lived in my husbands shop. We got her from people who never let her in so she wasn’t happy cooped up. Anyway, when we let her out, the coyote was able to snatch her up. It was heartbreaking.

So sorry you lost your cat..I too have lost a few to coyotes..it doesn't take a second once they scope one out..another youtuber I watch had one walk up within 50 feet of her and her dog..luckily she was just outside her van!

I'm saying this in the nicest way possible. I wouldn't ever let her loose and I would never become relaxed. Bad things can happen in an instant. Hawks have been known to get dogs/cats while walking them. It's not worth the chance! Your van looks great!

Hi Emi glad you saw the coyote and and brought Kelly inside. Every vedeo I watch I’m always worried about Kelly being outside knowing there are predators out there , especially when she hides in the tall grass , kind of dangerous, some animal can sneak up on her . I’d keep her inside unless you’re with her at every moment , love your new inside van make over , great job 👏👏👏👏👍👍👍

Omgosh that's scary. Whenever I see Kelly outside, I get nervous. Even though she's on a leash, the wildlife will go after her. Please keep her inside unless you're with her. Coyotes can move faster than you. ❤

So often we get relaxed, comfortable and assume everything will be ok with our beloved pets being outside. Hawks are known to swoop down and take their prey. Cats and small dogs are their favorite. I had a neighbor who was walking her small poodle and right in front of her, a hawk swooped right down and lifted him off the ground. Please be aware of what can happen in a split second! Thank goodness Kelly is ok. You are amazing with all the work you are doing in your van! You’re becoming a remodeling pro! You have so much to be proud of … 💜

Oh no!! I had a worrisome episode too with Merri lately where i came to BC last week alone, i was supposed to go relax in Squamish, and I can't take my cat there on the Connector Bus or at the Adventure Inn where I love to stay at. I booked an AirBnb for the month after, figured after my trip to Squamish, I would check into the AirBnb, bring all the stuff in advance, litterbox, cat food, my clothes etc (which i keep in my storage locker to bring in various AirBnbs everytime), then i planned to just fly get Merri and bring him back. Had all the flights and everything. Day after I land in Vancouver my friend catsitting opened the door and Merri escaped. So my cat is missing outside 5000km from me and my street is super dangerous with fast cars. At first I thought he's gonna come back soon because he always does... but on the 3rd day... couldn't stay here and I booked a flight to go back to Québec and search for him! Didn't find him the first day and I was SO WORRIED. He finally came back the 4tn night ugh. Now we are back, we just flew in this morning and I ordered a tracker for him!! I never want to be in that situation again! ❤ So I understand totally about Kelly!❤ they are our family ❤

Honestly I would never get over losing my fur baby's ! I'm over protective & never leave them alone & on a leash! I stay in town but I've seen cats attacked by stray dogs & have ever seen them eating the cats & kittens ! This is the honest truth it's not even safe in town anymore 😔 I think desperate people are dumping their pets & the pet shelters are overflowing! I'm so happy you both were safe ! ❤ Your new remodel it's beautiful! Stay safe you two ! 👩🐈‍⬛ Maybe you can get some containers with lids for your bin 🤔label them with items inside on top so it would be organized & easy to grab ! I do that then stack them in a bin like you have it's so nice !🙂

I lived somewhere around coyotes. When I first heard them at 3 am screaming and sounding like ghouls, I was shocking too..and my puggle was shaking. Her hackles up. They can sound like hyenas sometimes, to me. Good job getting Kelly out of there!

I'll share what my favorite bed is. White cotton sheets and white comforter in the summer and of course in winter I use a good cotton comforter and it keeps me warm. Have you ever thought about getting a heated throw for your bed in the winter? O it keeps the bed warm as toast.
