What we need is an international Medical Intelligence Bureau (MIB). w/arrest powers for these pharma reps, CEOs & shareholders. & license suspension for not practicing open methods. Annnnddd as i type this, i realize an even larger muti gvt org is probably not the answer either. Tho if self prescription was removed, & Drs were assigned a primary physician under a "random ethical assignment protocol" who would generally follow guidelines - a lot of the poor policy guiding practice would vanish over night. but i dont really want that. & thats the rub.

Why would we think that doctors would be more honest than general population ?

i wonder if i can learn this all in less than 40yrs of non stop immersion @ a prestigious center. it does seem more then ever this hapns near monthly now. but why do so many physicians not...well, tbh, the colleges arent gr8, but Drs tend to be fine on everything - from methods to Pharma - if you ask them in a hallway. But BMJ/Nature/NEJM etal will still bamboozle ppl from authority for some reason.
