Depends on the add-on - some add-ons the developers give me a free copy so I can try it and review it, some don't. In this case the developer did give me a copy of the add-on. Either way, I still hope that the more in-depth feature videos like this are still helpful :)

I'd like to see in a future update: 1. Bi-directional walking/running for crowds. 2. Follow object for Stadium Crowds (maybe with a random seed of where a few decide to not follow). 3.Number of frames used in the animations to set proper looping. 4 Ability to add custom characters. Otherwise, this is AWESOME!

I guess he didn't show, but the addon can already do a look at. If you check the video on bp3oduxtion channel, he shows how to do that. Bi-directional would be nice indeed. Im gonna add a preload system, I also did that in his vegetation addon

You actually showed the error this addon has when installing the library. In the library path, you choose the destination and you should NOT choose the zip. Thats what the install paco vutton is for. Its a bit xonfusing because library path allows you to choose a zip file. I just commented this on one of his vidoes

Will this addon allow for adding my own custom characters as this could possibly fit into my project in the future ???? It's great to know how one could possibly do this using Procedural Crowd addon

As cool as this is, it seems almost like a motion capture library of humans, but you don't seem to be able to define different behaviors based on a procedural set of rules, like in Massive or Houdini? Don't get me wrong, you get why you pay for and this can work wonders for arch viz, I just wish it was something more than " just scattered mocap humans" feels like the developers just grasped the surface of what it could have been! Thanks for the video, appreciate you taking the time to showcase these

thats what i was thinking but at a cost even similar icons but wayy more people .. that can be fixed real easy on procedural crowds though

True. This one has a lot more functionality and characters, but at a significantly higher price.

note that this project was in development years before the launch of the addon you are talking about. it is a much more powerful tool and allows you to do a lot more things. look on the product page for the comparison :)

@@TheCGEssentials the free option give you 2 people so kinda useless for those trying to use it for anything and the 35$ one has less then procedural crowds and costs double so doesn't make sense to look at any other option but the 135$ option
