This man has forgotten more then I will ever know about chainsaws. Love your channel, thank you for continuing to contribute into your retirement. Cheers!

Got in an argument with a guy back east about Rich's experience. He was touting donyboy73 as some great wizard/guru. I like that donyboy73 shares what he knows, but Rich has forgotten more than donyboy73 will ever know about chainsaws.

Good info thank you, love my 2100XP, and I custom blend my own bar oil. As for gas mix I use Klotz with techniplate, mostly for nostalgia. Takes me back to the 70s, dad had a Margay panther X with a fully built 101 Mac on it, thing had 2 Tillotson carbs 😂 😂 😂 also takes me back to my 2 stroke dirt bike days as a kid growing up in the 70's and 80's

I'm a 57 y.o logger from n.h. my 1st saw i bought was a 2100 in 1983. Still got it. My favorite 2100 i got from a guy I was logging with 20 years ago. In his youth he hitch hiked from N.H to California and logged for a while. He won that 2100 in a card game in Grass Valley Calif.. I will rebuild that old growth slayer one day. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Outstanding information. I am retired but still have 4 running 2100s, and a few in pieces. I will have a look to see what I have in as far as different pistons. Too bad you didn't talk about the thin ring vs the fat ring. I'm to old to have run the newer saws, but the 2100s are my all time favourite saws. (I have a 380 that is pretty close). About 2 years ago, I bought a 2100 with (by feel) the most compression of all the 2100s I have run. It is a lovely saw.

Great information saw king. My 2100 has no id tag just walker saw engraved on the handle guessing it was a logging camp saw that maybe walkers serviced. Thanks for the videos

Fellow Oregonian here, I’ve got a 391 I’ve been messing around with lately and have stumbled upon your exhaust and full wrap handle videos. Curious if you’re still doing the handle kits? I can’t find them or 362 handles anywhere. Thank you

I did not know that thanks, now I'm curious which piston mine has in it. One question I have is the thin ring vs thick ring. I've heard two different things, one is the early 2100s had thin rings and the latter ones had thick rings and I've heard it the other way around. I wonder if the a,b,c cylinders and pistons have anything to do with the confusion?

Used Crankcaseoil in Saws spraying into the Nature is absolutely forbidden in Europe. Also Mineral Chainoil. I cant understand People doing that. Its like an Oilchange in the Woods.
