My husband went home to God 6 years ago. The first couple years as I slowly went through his things, I found cards, notes, and an occasional long letter from him. I avoided his man cave until last week; couldnt bear to open the door. Anyway, while cleaning up his desk, I found a beautiful card with a diamond necklace inside. The card said he knew it would take me a bit of time to get to that room. Of course I lost my composure all over again. I miss him so, he was only 62, he knew he had limited time, he had pancreatic cancer. The journals reminded me of him and the cards and letters. Sorry for the novel. Great stuff, as usual, Melissa✌️

I wish I’d had an opportunity to get the dad journal for my dad. He had a massive stroke at age 54 and it affected his vision and speech so badly we could no longer communicate. Cherish every second you have with your dad, he’s a lot of the reason I love your channel so much. His sense of humor reminds me so much of my dad who I miss so much. It was like we lost him twice, once with the stroke, and then when he passed away. Much love to you and your amazing family ❤❤❤❤

I got the dad journal and my dad filled it out before he passed....It was like he was telling us stories from beyond the grave. Get your dad to fill it out with his writing. It is a keepsake our family will cherish forever.

I would have loved to have had my dad fill in one of the dad journals as there was so much I didn’t know about his life but he’d done so many things in his life. Sadly he died in 2018 so I’ll never know

Just remember that when you put the iron on parchment paper you put another cloth over it and don’t iron on directly the decal, make sure you surface is completely flat and not on an ironing board.. I’m sure it’ll be fine and you’ll do a fantastic job… Great haul…

Oh my gosh I just got the same card. 10 of them plus journals for my kids, Husband and grandchildren. Top secret shhhh I have lung disease even though I never smoked. So I am doing up journals for my children and grandchildren plus my husband. This was a good haul thanks for sharing. We have lotion by the bathroom sink. Funny I have expensive lotion. My husband has man lotion cheap and scented. Scented the dermatologist tells me. I did an experiment using ne kind on one hand then the other on the other hand. Well the scented took the gold!!

Melissa Niva makes a lotion that is more of liquid.That you put on in the shower .Then lightly rinse and towel dry. So it takes the yuck out of the lotion process.

Just a thought, get that information from your parents in those books, ASAP, you never know what tomorrow will bring. We thought there would always be a tomorrow, there wasn't, and our kids missed out on so much they could have learned they didn't know about their Dad!! So, get those books filled out, you won't regret it, I promise! Best lotion on earth is Nivea, but get you a mitt of some sort, it will work better if you can't stand it on your hands!!! Keep the other thing for a massager. Enjoyed your video as usual!!

You can always wash your hands after applying the lotion. Use cream it may feel better and it is thicker.

I use to work with a girl who never used lotion and her elbows were soo gross! I couldn’t stand behind her because the sight was icky. I do have the one lotion applicator without the rollers and it works well for the back!

I have both the lotion applicators. The solid white one is much, much better than the one with the balls. The one with the balls, lotion gets gunked up in it and some of the balls fall out. I think it's too hard for the back, watch the edges, they will scratch you. After I apply lotion with the white one, I just take couple squares of tp and wipe it off.
