What happens when the media spends the entire offseason obsessing over Matt Eberflus' beard and nickname instead of worrying about his actual coaching ability. The man is 11-26 in his career now. He can't spell offense. He makes weird decisions (on challenges and timeouts) which somehow get blamed on people in the booth or everyone but him. Time to start asking if the man is actually a good Head Coach. Hint: He sure doesn't look like one and we're into Season 3.

Losing this game, a game that we had no business losing, negates the game (week one's comeback win) we had no business winning. Great job Bears. We would be 0-3 if it wasn't for Special Teams, and the defense.

@@hellolkitty3933 its a rookie qb. Most rookie qbs dont win. The goal is to develop your qb, so you can start consistently winning year to year. Also they lost because of a lack of run game, poor oline play, and terrible playcalling, not their rookie qb. Most teams rookies dont start and if they do they get a pass because they are a rookie. Here, if you arent an elite qb right out the gate, you suck, which is crazy because we have never had a great qb. As a bears fan, i will say most of you are morons. Hes a rookie. 3 games in. No rookie comes in mvp ready. Cj stroud was great last year, didnt start great. If we are relying on a rookie to carry the offense, it is going to go bad. Brock purdy was successful because of a great oline and could let others carry. Our oline is a joke. The play calls are a joke. The fact that williams looked decent despite that is exciting. This team isnt winning a superbowl with that oline and playcalling, so yes fuck winning, set your team up for future success

This season is going to get even uglier once we lose again this week to LA. LA may be insanely banged up and injured, but they have a top 5-10 QB in my opinion and they have a top 3 coach in football in my opinion. I think McVay is the 2nd best HC in the NFL behind only Andy Reid. Andy Reid Sean McVay Mike Tomlin Kyle Shanahan Matt Lafleur Hm: Jim Harbaugh If we start the year 1-3 the hope to make the playoffs is definitely over cause of how good the division is and how tight the NFC is. The entirety of the NFC West and NFC North division should/will be competitive for the 3 wild card spots. Along with Dallas, NOLA, TB, and ATL who will also all be fighting for the 3 wildcard spots.

I can't believe we're here again, another season that is going to go nowhere. I think there is strong talent on this team that, if in the hands of another coaching staff, would be 2 and 1 or 3 and 0 and a playoff contender. So end of the year we'll be starting over with new coaches, maybe that is the one positive we'll have to look forward to 😪

why did Chicago spend so much on Swift? that's stupid. invest in o line.. you have more weapons than about 30 other teams and yet can't beat these average teams. even Panthers w/ former Bears Andy Dalton scored 30+ pts today. that won't be a gimmie any more.. Rams won today finally. so next week won't be easy

Fire whole offensive coaches and hire Mike Vrabel as HC and let him cook at least Vrabel had successful offenses with less talent. Vrabel as HC would be a huge upgrade over what we have now both in how to coach properly and accountability. And before people say defensive coaches can’t coach at all go back and look at all the great defensive coaches that win currently and past. It’s all about their knowledge about the games, coaching and their own accountability.

Somebody taught roschon Johnson how to run with his pads down. Braxton jones had the type of game that he should be cut for. It’s one thing to get beat inside or to the edge. But this guy was getting beat consistently by rushes where the d lineman was running right down the middle of him. Pro olineman should not be getting beat by bull rushes consistently. D lineman did not even need to go to other moves.

CW and Rome were virtually the only bright spots of this game. All-around a horrid performance. A garbage performance and the cherry on top, the Bears were the only NFC North team to lose this weekend. Unacceptable, just insanely unacceptable.

Caleb Williams has a ton of flaws and is far from a "generational" prospect: 1. Can't read a defense 2. Holds onto the ball too long 3. Pats the ball before throwing, which tips off the defenders 4. Tries to make a 50-yd pass each time instead of taking the open 5-7 yd throw the defense gives him 5. Tries to make highlight plays to elude the sack each time, which could result in injury instead of throwing the damn ball away...Good for social media highlights/clips, bad for winning football games I've seen guys who were much more talented than him end up busting because they had 1 or 2 of the flaws above. He has a long way to go to even become a decent starter.

I’m Packer fan and im scared of the bears with Caleb. I feel this guy is just building his leverage, proving he’s a student of the game and a gamer. Later he’s gonna use that leverage and steam roll bad players and bad coaches, he seems like the guy that won’t deal with shit, he wants better. If he has the leverage he’ll shake out to a team and staff he needs. Fields and previous bear QB’s just don’t have that natural instinct for the conflict needed to get great shit done at all costs. I think this is just a kid who doesn’t know that yet, but has the potential to be that guy that demands and acts on the real needs form his POV. THAT ability to make a situation ugly to get shit done is called leadership. Bears have had it in spades over the years on defense, never on offense. I’m afraid that this guy is that dude.
