That void of not having the full picture is necessary for learning to trust him. Cos the faith entails following even when you don't understand every single detail. You see, I feel like, look at David. That man prayed to God for his child not to die but his child still died. This was a man after GOD’s heart. After he got the news of the death of the child, he immediately went to the church to thank YHWH. For me I feel like it is on why you love God. If you love God because he will give you money when he doesn’t give you, you will hate him. If you love him because of fame, if fame doesn’t come, you will hate him. So why do you love God?
