In 1970s Romania a rebellious and erratic teenager is vying for his older step brother's love and attention while envying his fame and lifestyle.
Synopsis: Not getting along with his parents, Petre (Dan Nutu), a teenager, leaves them for his older brother, Andrei (Ion Dichiseanu), a successful actor. There, he befriends Dora (Ileana Popovici), a young admirer of his brother. When Andrei pays attention to the girl, Petre feels betrayed and leaves him too, even refusing the one hundred lei that he had given him.

Partea cea mai suprarealistă este atunci când supermarketul este bine aprovizionat și oamenii nu stau la coadă ore întregi (2:32). 😂😂😂

It's obvious that the opening dialogue was recorded separately and then dubbed in, hence the unnatural cafence, volume and tones of speech. I wonder if this solution was due to technical constraints (inability to record live dialogue while filming relatively far away -- the overhead microphones would otherwise be seen), or just creative license and part of the overall surreal vibe?
