I have a camera that has surprisingly decent audio. It’s not great but setting up a mic tends to take a little extra time that I just didn’t want to spend. It was the end of a long teaching day and pressing the record button was a lot more appealing than digging out my mic.

To answer your question, it is a Mac but I was using it as a music stand. 😔

Haha okay. I was considering recording a bit with the Mac. I haven’t done that at all so I just don’t know what the quality is like.... I don’t have my mic with me

I have an old Mac so it’s not great...the only way to know is to try...a hint is to set up the computer a few feet from you to avoid sound compression.
