This song was performed by Malpractice. GG Allin was the drummer. We knew him as Kevin back then. The lead vocal is by lead player Jeff Penney from Gorham, NH, later of the band "Penney", who was the writer of the song and later became an LA DJ. I played Hammond B-3 with Penney. Other players in Malpractice were GG's brother Merle, and Brian Demers. I was present on the same stage with my band "Opaque Illusion", and "Phoenix Bird" when Malpractice auditioned for DJ Ron Robin of WRKO/Boston at the Galleon Discotheque in Littleton, NH. Ron booked the band in Beantown, effectively starting GG's career. This song was released on a 7" vinyl 45 as a "B" side to the song "Love Tunnel" - I still have a copy. GG's older brother Merle was in my class in high school, and continues to tour with his band "Murder Junkies". Anything else you are told is false. RIP Kevin and Jeff.

The song on here - "Devil's Triangle", was the B side of a 45 record released by Malpractice. GG is on drums. I have a copy somewhere.... HERE is the A side song - "Love Tunnel". GG is again on drums. Later on, I played keys on both songs with Malpractice's lead singer and guitarist Jeff Penney in his follow-up band "Penney" that was together in the late 70's. Enjoy another look at GG's rise to fame. RIP my friends Jeff and Kevin. - - kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXyqaaachKaqpqs

That's Jeff Penny Loretta/Patrick - he played lead also with Brian Demers, the 4th member who lives in CA now. I have a 45 copy of it somewhere to check, but I think it was '69 or before. - this was the B side, "Love Tunnel" was on the A side. I played keys with Jeff later on in his band "Penney" with his brother Dan. We recorded over 30 songs. RIP Kevin (GG) and Jeff.

@@mertustun5442 You are right Mert... Alan and Merle were both in my class in high school - and they could always be seen hanging together in the hallways (Littleton, NH '73). Aerosmith played for our Freshman Initiation dance... they also played for the Junior Prom and Winter Carnival in '72. Some of us were in stagecraft class - and we used all the lighting from our superlative drama department to run lights for them - which they were seriously lacking in the old days... Let's just say there was a lot of inspiration in our sleepy little mountain town to become a rockstar. Cheers!

@@3pound Well... I guess he sure surprised me when I saw him on Jerry Springer (RIP)... but looking back, I was not surprised. He was right about the idea that being a shocking non-conformist against 'societal norms' would lead to fame and fortune. His meteoric rise to fame - and the interest he still draws - are testimony to his being right about "shock rock". I am just saddened that it cost him his life. I expect to see Merle in June if he recovers in time from a fall he took. Cheers to you 3pound...
