In today's #facts, we will talk about one of these republics that will surprise you in many ways. This is #Turkmenistan, one of the more closed republics that is just opening up to the world and impresses with #culture, a lot of #history and unseen landscapes. Naturally, they also have an interesting past and have gone through special periods of governance, but today they are a developing country with solid #finances coming from the rich deposits of minerals. Turkmenistan is considered landlocked, although it has nearly 2,000 kilometers of coastline on the Caspian Sea. However, it has no connection with the world's #ocean and so trade through it is limited. Same as Kazakhstan if you remember. Turkmenistan is one of the countries that have no #credit and finance everything themselves. The interesting thing about them is that the state owns everything and they have a very serious social policy.

In terms of area, Turkmenistan is not small at all - as many as 491,000 square kilometers, which is almost 5 times larger than Bulgaria. 70% of this territory is occupied by the Karakum desert, translated as "Black Sand". By the way, about 30 million years ago, the country was a huge sea. Today, in #facts about #turkmenistan you will see what the #economy is like and how well they manage their #finance policy. They definitely have #money to not take #credit or #loans but to move their business forward and manage on their own. Despite its vast territory, the country's population is only about 7 million people, or so it is believed, because they do not share statistics. Even if it is exaggerated, it is still one of the least populated in the world with only 12 people per square kilometer. 90% of them profess Islam. Turkmenistan is one of the countries with a lot of #diversity - they have mountains, sea and vast deserts. The capital of Turkmenistan is Ashgabat and is known as the white city. By law, all new buildings must be painted white, and cars can only be silver.
Definitely in today's #50facts you can enrich #knowledge and #learn things you won't see in #science books. You can order #food for takeout or cook for yourself so you can eat while watching the video. I wish you a pleasant time with 50 facts about Turkmenistan, after which you will not set foot there.
