I once had a job that required me to do long haul trips across America fairly often ( travel nurse) I found if I took it easy, stopped often, and visited sights of interest when I came across them, it took another one day longer, and made it a very pleasant experience. Winter driving can be challenging. Don’t risk icy or white out conditions. On the other hand, a sunny winter day is a joy. As a Canadian, I so hope you end up close to Quebec, a totally different culture. Have a good trip. You will be on New York a long time. Stay safe on your journey.

"floor of an acid factory in a steampunk universe" is the perfect look for that formerly white dress, I love it! I am currently stitching on my first pair of leg of mutton sleeves into what shall be my lab coat (second mockup of Keystone jacket I drafted) and they are so epic, I love them. I have finally FINALLY found something that makes me happy to wear, even if the bent elbows on the sleeves make it a bit challenging to get into. The Keystone instructions for taking their basic sleeve and turning it into leg of mutton proportions were so insane that I just looked at the drawing and channelled my inner ClosetHistorian and ignored their written directions and just pivoted the whole sleeve backwards and then forwards using the pivot points showed in their diagram and fudged the rest and they came out so well, better than if I'd done a slash and spread. So thank you for showing your pattern manipulations for everything all the time and giving me the confidence to try it too!

Good amount of clothes, in my opinion! Im happy to see, how you are growing. We've seen so many new techniques this year - in playing with patterns, embellishments and so on. I'm inspired! What an impressive year of work - so many absolutely stunning pieces. Those two corsets at the end are mind bendingly well fitted, i really don't think you're giving yourself enough credit for the skill and hard work that went into them. I admit i have two favourites from this year though: that stunning outfit with the fire reflected in water sequinned jacket and the silver knit dress (suit?) that makes you look like a Sister Of Battle at a banquet. Escrow Brain Melting is such a rite of passage. One I'm so glad you got to take! Congrats again on the house. Your work is so beautiful, of course, and I'm wondering if I've missed (or have just forgotten) the video where you made the absolutely excellent dress (?) that you're wearing to film the intro/outro? I love it. I think I could, now that I've watched so many of your videos, figure out the all-the-darts-to-one-shoulder thing, but the neckline -- is that like, a little cowl neck? How did you get that to not choke you? It looks fantastic. (Also, if you ever consider channel memberships, I'd definitely join... I was an ordinary member of Patreon for ages until several years ago when the site decided that none of my credit cards were real, and I haven't been able to support any of my favourite creators/online voices since then. I'd love to directly support your channel.)
