Oh boy, I remember SeaWorld six years ago. I tried all the rides, but Mako was the one that kept me going all day. I must have ridden it 10 or 11 times in a row. I remember there was a girl, and we couldn’t stop riding it. We’d finish and immediately get back in line to ride again, over and over, until the park closed. In the end, it was just the two of us on Mako because there was no one else left. I remember the attendant was already laughing, and when the last ride finished, he told us to stay seated because it would be the final ride since the attraction was closing. A beautiful memory.

I remember when Journey to Atlantis had the mermaid lady that guided you through Atlantis. She turned into what I assume is Medusa who tried to kill you at the end. There was also a seahorse that sprayed water at you sometimes, and the Medusa figure actually came at the riders as you went up the hill. It had a bit of a story back when I was a kid, and honestly I wish they’d bring those elements back. It feels like a shell of itself and I get sad seeing it in the state it’s in now. Even though it’s probably the worst aged coaster on this video, it holds a special place in my heart, and I make sure to ride it every time I go in case it ends up shutting down for good. Not to mention it’s probably my first or second big coaster alongside the OG Gwazi back when it had both tracks running. As for favorite ride in the park? Mako. Easily. Followed by Manta, Ice Breaker, and then Kraken. Haven’t ridden the two newer ones yet.
