Mahalo for this sharing. Yes we are a different generation of weavers with a desire to perpetuate this cultural art. Yay technology and KZbin for helping us get the word out. I have one suggestion to make to help us see better. It stems from my experience of learning with my Kumu. No matter what I was learning, I would always position myself next to my Kumu on her right side. This allowed me to watch her hands and copy her movement each step of the way. So if you could place the camera on your hands behind your shoulders this would allow all of us to have a front row seat next to you. It also allows us to pause and repeat steps that we might have missed. You are lovely to look at, but I would love to see more of your hands from the angle that you are looking at them. Mahalo from the depths of my heart.
