Work hardened ring shanks when under stress and then heated _will_ explode. Also yes, hot metal doesn't always look hot. _Always_ know where your barbed wire is. And don't hit it with your arm when cleaning debris off your pig blocking grill during irrigation when the water knocks you over. Don't torque your drill bit sideways while drilling through metal. If you do, make sure your hand isn't where you can drill into a knuckle with a broken drill bit. Oh the wonderful scars we adventurous folks have. Loved the video, Cody. Glad you're mostly ok.

@@bryanl1984 I'd bet less than my dad... guy almost lost several fingers several times in incidents involving a table saw (the same one each time btw) but always came out with all 10. you want something scary, go look at the death machine that is a table saw. anyone who works will one and values their fingers will tell you they're terrifying. you definitely don't need explosives to loose fingers, and I'd say that due to the skill ceiling involved anyone who deals with explosives is at much less risk..,.

@@kingjames4886 Yes. I remember on physicsforums they'd be laying down all these warning and proscriptions about how-to-build scientific instruments involving glass tubing, high-voltages, mercury, etc. They wouldn't permit plans and directions for such things. HelI's bells, the machinery you build a DIY X-ray machine with can be far more dangerous than the X-rays. For the short time someone would actually _use_ an X-ray machine, they'll certainly be able to focus on safety, and they certainly _would_ . You get lax around a table-saw. You can't find the push-stick? Well for now just poke it along carefully... Had a friend with the missing tip of forefinger. And his workshop was festooned with wiring, electric motors, cobwebs and fine sawdust in the cobwebs. And he was a smoker. Cigarette butts all over the place...
